"Remember to Let Her into Your Heart"

 
Hello and Happy New Moon and Solar Eclipse in Cancer! 

If you've been following me on Instagram you may have seen me post recently about feeling rather melancholic this time of year, and from the looks of my feed I'm not the only one. What is it about the Crab that's got us all down? 

The zodiac sign Cancer is so named because it is derived from the Latin word for crab, which was what  ancient celestial observers thought that the constellation looked like. Crabs are part of athropod family and are grouped under the phylum crustacean, including lobsters and crawfish. They do not have an internal skeletal system, so their mushy insides are held together and protected by a hard outer skeleton.  The illness 'cancer' is so designated because the dis-ease itself attacks soft tissue, which it then forms a "hard wall" around, emulating the invertebrate nature of the squishy crab whose contained by their hard shell. 

Astrologically Cancer is the ruler of the 4th house of the zodiac, also called the IC or Imum Coeli. Cancer connects to the themes of home, childhood and our foundations. It's how we feel most comforted and where we are most vulnerable. It is our psychological safety mechanism, where we  go to when we are in need of sanctuary. In looking at the biology of the crab and it's connection to the astrological associations of Cancer, it's no surprise to me that many of us feel uneasy in this season. Cancer energy connects directly to our deepest truths, our heaviest wounding and brightest treasures. It is the mystery of emotion, the astounding reality that we can be at once glaringly joyous and deafeningly sad. 

It is also of no surprise to me that when I took a moment to tune into this new moon and solar eclipse energy I was greeted immediately by Mother Mary. She encouraged me to meditate, reminding me that I will finish all that I had planned to do today, but that I needed to allow myself to receive a healing transmission first. During our meditation ( which I will link the video down below) I was welcomed into Mary's home, which I saw to be near the ocean. She greeted me with arms spread, offering me to lie down on a wooden table in her kitchen. She began to place various herbs and foods on my body, two rosemary sprigs, one in each hand, which she asked me to cross over my heart. She placed a linen strip soaked in milk and honey over my eyes, which she told me to release from straining to 'see'. She massaged olive oil into my hair, which she told me was to strengthen my ability to be discerning with my thoughts, to allow negative ones to merely pass by, and to attach only to the golden ones. All the while, Jesus sat at my feet, washing them clean and drawing out all painful energy, all discord, all darkness from the far corners of my body. Tears were slowly leaving my eyes, but the emotion to actually weep was not present. Only peace, calm, and love was there. 


Mother Mary then had be transcribe this beautiful message for you all, which I will share now.

Me: Thank you mother Mary for stepping forward to speak with us today. What will you have us know?
 
Mother Mary: Yes, of course, hello my dearest ones and welcome to all on this most glorious day. I and all of the beings of light are watching over Earth closely on this day, overseeing the transition of Gaia through the Divine portal, observed by you as a solar eclipse.
 
 The union of Sol and Luna represents the most exciting progression of Gaia's Ascension, the unification of the Divine masculine and Divine feminine blueprints.
 
Many of you are now aware of these frequencies within the self, the micro of the macro, but what a joy it is witnessing it in the heavens, the celestial bodies meeting and showing all how it is done.
 
I am here on this powerful day to offer support to all those who are healing alongside these progressions. You who are so brave to face the darkness alone, you who peer Into the Depths of your existence. In search of gleaming diamonds of the truth light, I am here to help you, I am here to remind you that you are never, and have never, been alone.
 
I hear every beat of your heart, I Delight in each Breath You Take, I Am Your Divine mother and I am with you always. As you are ready to step through this portal and ask for my presence to guide you, I shall be there instantly and I will help you with whatever healing that you need.
 
Me:  Is there anything more you'd like to share with us?
 
Mother Mary: (smiling coyly) Yes, I wish to connect you with the Waters of all life, the Great Sea of creation through your own physical contact with water. Please hands above your drinking water and ask for it to be blessed by me and I shall infused it with healing light. Seek out water in nature, in rivers, lakes, oceans, and call upon me to be with you, and I shall. In bathing think of me and ask that your water cleanse your energy as you wash and it will be done. The power to heal lies in your ability to ask for it, to welcome it with intention and awareness. Your power lies in your free will, all that you intend shall come. I am here to help any who ask me, speak my name and it shall be so.
