Full Moon in Virgo: Thoughts and Channeled Message

​Here we are again, at that glorious time in the month where the moon is full and radiant. Ever since I was little the sight of the full moon has filled me with awe, and perhaps simultaneously overloaded my system with highly vibrating frequencies. My mother always said to be careful around the full moon, because that's when the "crazies" would come out. As I get older, I find myself and everyone around me to be pretty off-kilter when the moon is approaching full or is in full bloom.

But why? I guess you could chalk it up to thousands of years of moon worship and beliefs, or even superstitions. More practically though, I associate the moon's ability to influence humans with its ability to cause the ocean to pulsate. Humans on average are about 57-60% water, and I believe that just as the waves and tides of the ocean are affected by the moon's gravitational force, so is the water within every human being. 

So, with that being said, let's briefly look at an astrological transit occurring in our solar system right now. The moon has become full in the helpful-but-in-a-neurotic-sort-of-way house of Virgo. If the energy of a full moon being in the house of Virgo doesn't cause you to shudder already, I'll elaborate. Virgo is the image of perfection, at least that's what they'd have you think, and this means that for those with a natal Sun in Virgo, being perfect or appearing to know everything is number one on their list. (Though they would never admit this, they like to appear to be humble, take my word for it, my sun is in Virgo).

For the rest of us, I feel that the full moon occurring in Virgo pokes and prods at each of our own inner perfectionists, which could have you feeling like you aren't doing anything right at this time, or that there are so many things you want to be different in your life that you don't know where to start. Directly across the Astrological wheel from Virgo rests its sister sign, Pisces, and there are currently many planets in opposition to this full moon. I feel that the most influential to the energy of this time is the opposition between the Moon and Uranus.

​Uranus wants you to be your unique self, meaning Uranus really wants you to let your "freak flag fly", so you can unabashedly be the weirdo you know you are. The opposition to the Virgo Moon feels like a game of tug of war to me. Deep down you know that everything in life would be easier if you stopped being concerned with what others will think about you, and this is Uranus, pulling at your unique brilliant spirit to free itself. Meanwhile, the energy of Virgo is saying "Whoa whoa whoa, how could you ever be the best-most-perfect-you if you aren't aware of what others think?", and the opposition of the transit is pulling you back and forth, between freedom and fear.

But, let us not forget who else is in the sign of Virgo, the awesome presence of the moon, and the full moon especially begs us to release the ties that we bind ourselves with. I see this Virgo full moon as saying, "In order to be the best-most-perfect-you, you must free yourself from any limiting beliefs that tell you that you aren't already that person."
Yup that's right y'all, you are already the best version of yourself you can be at this time, and if you feel that anything in your life is holding you back from this realization, it is those limiting things that I implore you to release today. Commit to yourself, your happiness, your life! 

My moon ramblings have become a bit longer than I expected, but I feel that they are valuable for anyone who is ready to free themselves from self-inflicted despair. To help further this shift, I have channeled a truly beautiful message from the Hindu Goddess Lakshmi. Her presence was soothing and warm, like liquid gold, and today she wants us all to see how truly powerful we already are. 


Without further ado, here is the full moon message I channeled from Lakshmi:

​Me: Great goddess Lakshmi, thank you for your presence, what will you have us know this glorious full moon day? 

Lakshmi: Greetings dear ones, I am the goddess Lakshmi, and I am filled with warmth and joy to be communicating with you today.

This full moon is full of so much power, and it is for this reason I have come forth today to share my message of abundance to all.

I fear your world is in turmoil, far greater than it has been for many many years, and I feel that all beings of light who wish to hep humans worry that their efforts will fall on deaf ears and dulled minds. But still we are here, for all of you, waiting for you to ask for our help.

But truly I am here today to speak of your power, your ability to change the world, and to remind you that you have to start at the beginning, and then move forward. You simply cannot believe that you can do it all and get to your end goal all at once. That is not how true destiny works, it does not fall on your lap, you must put effort into your dreams, your destiny, and slowly it will manifest and grow and grow.

The word destiny I use here I would like to describe clearly. Every person feels a desire for something, a "fantasy" of a way of living, that you dream could come true. And there is a problem in American thinking, which is spreading over the globe, that you can have this dream, if and only if you suffer and struggle and work hard. But the main point I have here is this idea of suffering to be happy someday, just look at those words, they are nonsensical!!! (Laughs)

Yet this idea persists, which also contributes to the negativity those who go towards their dreams get: they arent' "really working", or don't work hard, or are not doing anything valuable. I see so many of you get discouraged by these perspectives others have, some of you so much so that you never even start!

So, I am here today to help you break this cycle, I am here to tell you this: the universe flows with the light of abundance. earth flows with the energy of the light of abundance. You do not need to suffer to have what you need, but you do need to shift your feelings of bitterness and lack, so that you can see that you are making mother nature and her beings, all the animals and many people suffer, so that there is the perception of abundance. 

What you must know is that abundance already is., and capitalist consumer propaganda about getting more only stimulates your fear of lack. 

This energy is toxic. It's killing the planet that is your home. It is killing innocent animals, it's causing people to starve while others gloat about their wealth and power. Balance must be restored, and this can only change if you do first.

As I've said already, so many of us light beings are here, we want to help you. No, we cannot appear and physically fix this for you. 

That is not why we are here. We want to help any human who wishes to shift and expand their consciousness to do so, we want to remind you that you are full of light, the same light as me, you are a powerful creative force. 

So please, 
take my advice,
heed my warning, 
and use your light-power to create goodness, love, prosperity and joy.

Help to drive out darkness, hate, selfishness, and fear.

The power rests in your heart. There's no more time left to be afraid or in disbelief. I am here always, waiting to be called to help. Light incense and chant for me, this makes connecting with me easier.
